Working with partners across Milwaukee, Mary directs our efforts to improve the quality of life for youth and young adults. She works with our Board to invest $1.5 million in youth grants each year in out-of-school-time opportunities, basic needs and systemic development. Since joining the Foundation, Mary has worked closely with key partners to establish an executive leadership program in Social Entrepreneurship and Design Thinking as well as a program in Compassion Resilience which assists front line youth workers with critical mental health resiliency tools. Mary brings more than 20 years of experience in youth development. She holds a bachelor’s degree in art from the Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design and a Masters of Fine Arts in Intermedia from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Most recently Mary completed a global leadership program, Women Transforming Leadership, at the University of Oxford, England.
