COVID-19 FAQs: What You Need to Know?

As we continue to adjust to COVID-19 developments, the Bader Philanthropies team is fully accessible to you by phone and email, especially during this time. And, the Bader Philanthropies Board of Directors and team is working on specific ways to support partners during this time of unprecedented challenge in our neighborhoods, state and around the world.

Please find below questions and answers to your most immediate questions.

• Is the Bader Philanthropies Board of Directors still planning to review the Spring 2020 Grant Cycle proposals?
Yes. The Board of Directors is committed to reviewing and making decisions on proposals submitted for the Spring 2020 Cycle.

• Are progress and end of project reports due as scheduled?
Please communicate directly with your program officer to discuss if the adjustment of a report due date is needed.

• If our organization was awarded a grant for an event or program that is now postponed, can we repurpose or reallocate the grant resources?
Yes. Please communicate directly with your program officer to find out what is possible and what needs to be done to formalize the change.

• Is the Foundation planning to make funds available to help with basic needs directly related to COVID-19?
Please call your program officer to discuss your organization’s response to COVID-19.
