The board of directors and staff of the Repairers of the Breach, a homeless resource center, held its Annual Meeting on Friday, November 10, 2023, at Bader Philanthropies, Inc.’s headquarters, 3300 N Doctor Martin Luther King, Jr., Dr. November is Homeless Youth Awareness Month and the meeting’s guest speakers were State Representative Kalan R. Haywood and State Representative Darrin B. Madison on homelessness and the roads to independence. Repairers of the Breach was established in 1991 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, with a focus on communications projects advocating with and for people experiencing homelessness. The changed our primary focus in 1994 when they began offering Milwaukee’s first daytime homeless resource center.
