Born and raised in the Milwaukee area, Francie was a long-time friend of Helen Bader. After graduating Barnard College, she moved to Jerusalem where she has served on the boards of a number of Israeli non-profits, and raised eight children, all of whom are in giving professions, making significant contributions to Israeli society.
